SDG Assessment is a signatory of the Jena Declaration and is proud to announce that a Memorandum of Understanding has been also signed with the UNESCO Chair on Global Understanding for Sustainability to develop a research based Certificate in Sustainability Strategy and Diploma in Sustainability Strategy.

Professor Benno Werlen, UNESCO Chair on Global Understanding for Sustainability, commented: “A large proportion of the measures taken to date against global climate change and environmental deterioration – as important as they are – cannot achieve the immediate effects that are actually required. We need to dig deeper, and we need a strong complementation of the current top-down action by a strong movement from the ground. That’s what The Jena Declaration is about.

Details of the training package will soon be available on our website with an official launch tageted for Autumn 2023.
Further information regarding the MoU and opportunities for collaboration are available in our press release.
